I wanted to share an update with you. Earlier this year I made the decision to take on a full‑time role managing a domiciliary care service in Devon. It wasn’t an easy choice to step back from Elsilver, but it felt like the right one for me and my family.

 

My first few weeks have been wonderful — I’ve been warmly welcomed by the team and I’m really enjoying the work. I’m looking forward to growing with the organisation and continuing this new chapter in my career.

Because of this change, Elsilver is running at a slower pace for now. There are just two final workshops before I pause activities: one listed on my website, which is already fully booked, and another organised through Axminster & Lyme Cancer Support Group. If you’d like more details about that event, please contact the group directly.

Once these workshops are complete, I’ll be focusing fully on my new role. I will look at things in the summer next year to see what future workshops, commissions, or projects might be possible.

I will continue to keep my Elsilversupplies.etsy.com shop open and will ship items at weekends, this will allow me to sell down all of the stock I have remaining - I imagine this will take quite some time as I have soooo much! Elsilver has been such an important part of my life for the past nine years, and I’m so grateful for the support, encouragement, and custom that have carried me this far. This isn’t a permanent goodbye — just a pause while I settle into this new chapter.
